OLIVE BRANCH, MS (WMC) - Olive Branch Middle School will stay open despite an underground waterline break at the southwest corner of the school's parking lot.
According to DeSoto County Schools, there is no running water in the main building on campus. Water is available inside the library and in the sixth grade building.
Restrooms and washing stations will be available to students, and the cafeteria will serve lunch.
The school will run on a regular schedule. District officials hope to have the break fixed by the end of the day.
Parents will be notified when crews finish the repair.
