(WMC) - WWE star Daniel Bryan has announced his retirement.
Bryan announced the decision on Twitter, citing medical reasons.
Bryan has been one of the company's biggest stars for several years, culminating with his world championship victory at WrestleMania 30 in 2014.
Bryan has dealt with a series of neck injuries and concussions recently, limiting his time in the ring, especially throughout 2014 and 2015.
Bryan (real name Brian Danielson) is a veteran of Memphis Championship wrestling, where he competed during the promotion's two-year run.
Bryan retires as a four-time world champion with WWE.
