Officers involved in Jonathan Bratcher shooting identified

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis Police Department identified the two officers who shot and killed Jonathan Bratcher on January 27.

Clement Marks, 29 and Alexander Fleites, 26, are relieved of duty pending an investigation.

People in the Memphis community are demanding transparency, questioning whether the use of deadly force was necessary.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating the case, which is now standard in any Shelby County officer-involved shootings since Darrius Stewart's shooting in July.

MPD hired Marks in October 2010 and Fleites in September 2014.
