MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A man is charged with reckless endangerment after he showed up with an assault rifle and fired a pistol during an argument with neighbors over parking, according to a Memphis Police Department affidavit.
Glen Brunt, 63, was arrested Thursday after officers arrived at the 3300 block of Cloudland Drive, off Tchulahoma Road south of the airport.
Two victims inside a house told police Brunt knocked on the door while holding an M4 rifle and Glock pistol. They said he told them "You need to move your mother f------ car."
As the victims went outside to move their vehicle, Brunt allegedly fired a .357 Taurus revolver into the air. The pair was able to get away unharmed and call police.
Officers said Brunt was still holding his rifle when they arrived, and they found the revolver in his belt holster.
Police said Brunt later admitted to what happened. He was booked on $5,000 bond. He is due in court February 19.
