GRENADA, MS (WMC) - A $2,500 reward is being offered for information for the murder of a Grenada, Mississippi dog.
The dog was found shot, bound with a cord, stuffed into a bag and dumped on an abandoned couch.
The dog's body was found Saturday, February 6, miles away from her home.
The reward is being offered by In Defense of Animals.
"This was a merciless attack on a gentle, family dog," Director of In Defense of Animals' Justice for Animals Campaign, Doll Stanley said. "The person who committed this despicable killing could strike again at any time. In Defense of Animals is offering $2,500 to anyone with information that will help find and convict the person who committed this deplorable crime."
