OAKLAND, TN (WMC) - Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents arrested a Fayette County man accused of threatening a judge.
According to TBI, 42-year-old Kevin Michael Vinyard is accused of sending more than 100 threatening text messages to the judge. Vinyard made the threats in response to a previous incarceration, for which he blamed the judge.
Sunday, TBI agents and Fayette County sheriff's deputies arrested Vinyard and charged him with retaliation for past actions, assault, and harassment.
He is in the Fayette County jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
