MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - The man who is accused of firing a gun inside a community center full of children is in police custody.
Marcus Dotson was taken into police custody Wednesday.
Police said Dotson walked into the Riverview Community Center on February 5 with a gun.
Police said Dotson then pointed his gun at children, who were in the middle of a basketball game. He eventually fired his gun into the air and ran away.
Dotson was with a 14-year-old boy, who was taken into custody earlier this month for the incident.
Dotson is charged with 51 counts of aggravated assault, two charges of possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony and two charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
