MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Two police officers and another driver are at Regional Medical Center after a crash in Whitehaven just after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

A police cruiser was involved in a four-vehicle crash while responding to a carjacking call.

Police said the cruiser crashed with three other cars near the intersection of Winchester Road and Lakeview Road.

Three ambulances were sent to the scene. Those emergency responders took two officers and another woman to Regional Medical Center in non-critical condition

Investigators said officers from Raines Station were on Winchester headed to the carjacking call on Peebles Road and Green Road, seven miles away from where the crash happened.

A neighbor's home security camera caught the police cruiser coming over the hill just before the crash.

Loved ones of those injured in the crash took to social media to share their concerns and requested prayer. The daughter of the woman injured asked for prayers for her mother who, according to the Facebook post, had just left work when she was hit from behind by the police cruiser.

The other cars involved in the crash did not appear to be heavily damaged.

At this time, there is no information as to who is at fault in the crash.
