Biker Dad: Motorcycle officer injured escorting fallen agent's body needs our help

The community is rallying to help an injured motorcycle officer who was hurt while helping honor a Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics agent killed in the line of duty.

Officer Kenny Engle is a reserve officer for Grenada, Mississippi. He was on his motorcycle escorting the motorcade for fallen Agent Lee Tartt.  Police say when Engle was pulling into traffic, he hit a stopped vehicle pulled over on the shoulder. He's now in critical condition.

A GoFundMe account is up to help with his expenses. As of early Monday afternoon, more than  $2,000 had been donated. If you are interested in helping, you can donate by clicking here.

MS Law Enforcement Alliance Peer Support (LEAPS) and the Wives of Warriors in Tupelo, MS is raising money to assist Officer Kenny Engle.  Officer  Engle was seriously injured Saturday night in a traffic accident while on a Grenada Police Department detail escorting a fallen officer back home.  Any funds raised will assist Officer Engle and his family while he is recovering from his injuries.  Officer Engle is showing signs of improvement but is still critical at this time.  Even the smallest contribution will help Officer Engle and his family.   If you are unable to donate please keep Officer Engle and his family in your prayers.   All contributions and prayers are greatly appreciated.  We will continue to post updates as they become available.
