MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson will be back in the Mid-South on Sunday, February 28, to speak at Highpoint Church in Memphis.
According to the church's Facebook page, he will be speaking at both Sunday morning services, held at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
The church said the appearance is for Dr. Carson to speak about his faith and is not a political endorsement or rally.
According to their Facebook page, "this is not a political endorsement or rally, but an opportunity for us to hear stories or God's work and wisdom in and through Dr. Carson's life."
The church is located on 6000 Briarcrest Avenue.
This is Dr. Carson's second trip to the Mid-South during his presidential bid, with his first being a stop in West Memphis, Arkansas.
The visit to HighPoint Church comes just one week before voters take to the polls in the primaries on Super Tuesday.
