MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - The newest addition to the American Girl Doll family is here!
Buzzfeed reports the newest doll will be the third black American Girl Doll in the BeForever line.
The doll is nine-year-old Melody Ellison. Her character details reveal she grew up in Detroit during the 1960's civil rights movement.
The Root reports "Melody loves to sing and uses her voice to help make a difference."
The American Girl Doll will be released this summer for $115 dollars, but if you want the recording studio along with the other accessories, the price tag in total is close to $900.
