Here is a look at what we’re working on for WMC Action News 5 at 4, 5, and 6 p.m.!

4 p.m.:

Meteorologist Spencer Denton will tell us about a cooling trend moving in this evening.

5 and 6 p.m.:

Chief Meteorologist Ron Childers will tell us about the warmth we can expect this weekend and when clouds and showers will move in.  Plus, stay tuned for his 7-day forecast.

News stories we’re working on:

4 p.m.:

We’ll take you inside the courtroom, after cop killer Timothy McKinney was sentenced for another crime.

Also, we’re working to see if charges will be filed, after a Cordova teen took his dad’s Mercedes on a joy ride and then lied resulting in a K-9 search.

5 p.m.:

Felicia Bolton tells us about the hunt for a killer, after a robbery victim was shot in Whitehaven.

Ian Silver is getting to the bottom of an attack on a sanitation worker where a woman poured hot coffee on him because he didn’t pick up her trash.

Brix Fowler will show us a free dental ministry and tell you how you can get treatment.

Kym Clark will tell you about a new app that’s hiding things your children don’t want you to see on their phones and she tells you how to open the vault.

6 p.m.:

Ian Silver investigates why there’s talk of more Memphis police officers leaving the force. 

Felicia Bolton talks with the Memphis police Organized Crime Unit about a problem with heroin overdose.

Jason Miles is live from Republican presidential hopeful John Kasich’s Memphis appearance.
