MORGANTOWN, WEST VIRGINIA (WMC) - It was the highlight of the game as Memphis native Oterrious Diggins proposed to his longtime girlfriend at West Virginia University's women's basketball game.
WVU's women's basketball star player Bria Holmes scored 27 points during the college's Senior Day game, ultimately winning the game against Oklahoma State.
So what could be better than putting in work on the court? How about a proposal from the love of your life.
Holmes was being interviewed after a triumphant game at WVU's senior day when Diggins got down on one knee to pop the question on live television.
Holmes teared up as she watched her now fiance' Oterrious pull out the ring. Her teammates cheered along with crowd.
Diggins is native of Memphis and a senior at WVU. He graduated from Craigmont High School.
