MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A Memphis officer went above the call of duty for one distressed woman.
Two officers responded to a call where a woman was crying. She told them she was hungry and wanted something to eat.
One officer, officer Sandlin of Raines Station, went to the store, bought her several items of food and returned to the woman's home.
Sandlin's partner, officer James, said the woman was so grateful that she had tears in her eyes.
