MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Eric Trump is no stranger to Memphis. He's pledged over $30 million to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Monday, Eric Trump talked with WMC Action News 5's Andrew Douglas about another one of his passions-- his father's chances on the eve of Super Tuesday.
St. Jude opened the Eric Trump Foundation Surgery and ICU center, a $20 million, state-of-the-art medical center, in 2015.
Trump said he loves Memphis, he loves St Jude and his father in the White House would help Memphis and the Mid-South by focusing on bringing jobs back to the area.
"We have to bring jobs back," Eric Trump said. "We have to stop this trade deficit. We have to bring manufacturing back. We need to take care of our vets and we need to take care of our military. We need to start winning wars again. I mean, we need to start restoring the respect in this country that we used to have and my father would do an unbelievable job of it."
Donald Trump is leading in the national polls. There are more republicans voting against him, but with the anti-Trump vote split among several other candidates, Trump is expected to do well tomorrow night for Super Tuesday.
