MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - The Grizzlies announced Wednesday they have re-signed Ryan Hollins.
Hollins was on Memphis' training camp roster and signed with the team on December 9. He waived on January 7 before signing a pair of 10-day contracts on January 21 and February 1.
This time, Hollins' stay may be more permanent.
The Grizzlies are already without All-Pro center Marc Gasol for the season and forward/center Brandan Wright is out indefinitely with a sprained MCL.
That leaves 37-year-old Chris Andersen as the only true center on the active roster, with JaMychal Green picking up playing time at center despite standing at 6'9.
Hollins replaces forward James Ennis, who was waived by the Grizzlies today.
