Police identify Navy vet found dead in home

Navy vet's car stolen after his murder

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis police identified the Navy veteran found dead in his home Wednesday.

Police said someone shot and killed Albert Earl Farmer Jr.

Thursday, police said they are searching for Farmer's stolen dark blue 2005 Suzuki Forenza.

Farmer's family said he was a 51-year-old Navy veteran.

MPD believe the person or people who killed Farmer then took his car. The car has Tennessee tags DVS210.
