Baptist Health to run new Crittenden County hospital

CRITTENDEN COUNTY, AR (WMC) - Baptist Memorial Health Care will run a new hospital that is expected to open in early 2018.
Crittenden County residents approved a one-cent sales tax increase, which should bring in $25 million to $30 million to pay for the project.
Baptist said the facility will include 30 beds. Crews will break ground later this year.

The new hospital will be separate from the old Crittenden Regional Hospital, which remains vacant after closing in August 2014.
