MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Radio host Thaddeus Matthews and the man he's accused of harassing appeared in court Monday.
The police report indicates Fred McWilliams told officers that Matthews made threats to harm him on his talk show and Facebook page. It also said Matthews posted nude, uncensored photos of McWilliams on his blog and censored versions of the photos on his Facebook page. He also aired those censored photos on television.
The judge ordered Matthews to have no contact with McWilliams.
"Everything in here is a lie," Matthews said. "The first sentence is a lie. I'm not even on air on Saturdays. I gave him a threatening look--what does that mean?"
McWilliams said the harassment he has been facing became too much too bear. He would not discuss his lawsuit against Matthews.
Matthews is due back in court next month.
