MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A day care bus crashed with two other cars Monday afternoon.

"It was a couple of like little girls crying. Girls was crying like they just really want their parents," driver Phashaun Jackson said.

Jackson estimated 15 children were on the Happy Times Day Care bus when it crashed into a pole on Kirby Parkway and Treadway Trail.

Witnesses said the children came out of the back door because the front door was too damaged to be used as an exit.

Police said it was a miracle none of the children were injured in the crash.

Jackson said the bus driver appeared to be turning into a neighborhood and hit him as he drove down Kirby.

"She hit my car like she just didn't even see me," Jackson said.

After being struck by the bus, Jackson then hit another car.

Neighbor Salvador Maldonado heard the crash and thought someone had hit his house.

"I just heard some noise and I came out and I see the car by the street,' Maldonado said.

He said he couldn't believe Jackson was not injured based on what he saw of the vehicle.

"When I saw the car right there, I was thinking somebody hurt," Maldonado said.

The crash left glass all over the intersection.

No one answered at the Happy Times Day Care and attempts to reach them for a comment were unsuccessful.

Police have not yet said who was at fault in the crash.
