NASHVILLE, TN (WMC) - The Titans are working on a deal to send running back Demarco Murray to Tennessee.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the deal is being finalized and should be completed Wednesday.
Murray was not effective for the Eagles in 2015, rushing for just 702 yards in 15 games for an average of 3.6 yards per carry.
Murray, however, led the NFL in rushing in 2014 with Dallas. He ran for 1845 yards and 13 touchdowns, both tops in the league.
Murray's one year in Philadelphia was a bit problematic as the running back was unsatisfied with his workload, garnering just eight starts.
Murray should be expected to start for Tennessee, whose leading rusher in 2015 was Antonio Andrews at 520 yards.
Tennessee ranked 25th in the NFL in rushing last year.
