MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Editorial by Tracey Rogers, Vice President and General Manager of WMC Action News 5:
It appears TNReady is yet again TN not ready.
You may remember, TNReady is the new statewide testing exam that had to be delayed when computers crashed on the first day of testing.
So the state decided students would forgo testing on computers this year and take the tests by hand.
Get this, not all students could start testing this week because their schools had not received the necessary materials. Some of those students are in Shelby County.
At what point is the state going to call this a failure and start over?
We need our state education leaders to get it together for the good of our students and our teachers who are working hard to make this a better and smarter state and Mid-South.
