MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - The Memphis Tigers basketball team helped honor a deployed Army solider and his children.
Major Kelly Baker Wade is a graduate of the University of Memphis and currently serving the United States in Afghanistan. Wade also works with Regional One.
Wade's wife Claudia and children Isabella, 12, and Jacob, 10, came up with a way to honor Wade while he is away.
The three made bracelets with Wade's name and rank on them.
Tuesday, Memphis Tigers Head Coach Josh Pastner invited Isabella and Jacob to practice to watch the Tigers and share their bracelets with the team.
The team got together for a big group picture, showing off the bracelets in the process.
