MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Despite a difficult season in Memphis, the Tigers basketball team can at least boast some personal hardware.
The Tigers' frontcourt duo of Shaq Goodwin and Dedric Lawson each earned a spot on the All-AAC team
Goodwin was named to the All-AAC first team. The senior led the American Athletic Conference in scoring with 17.2 points per game during conference play. Goodwin made the All-AAC second team in 2014.
Meanwhile, Lawson was named to the All-AAC second team in addition to the All-AAC rookie team. The freshman nearly averaged a double-double, with 15.4 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. Lawson set an AAC record for Rookie of the Week awards.
