MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Police have identified a person of interest in the murder of a Memphis 60-year-old on Tuesday.
Terry Pegues, 21, is wanted by homicide investigators as a person of interest in the murder.
Pegues has a history of prior offenses. He has three prior robbery arrests and one unlawful possession of a weapon charge.
Investigators said 60-year-old Darnell Killebrew was not the intended target in the shooting, but was caught in the crossfire during an argument between two groups of men.
The shooting happened in the 800 block of Lenow Park.
Witnesses said Killebrew was shot while trying to run for cover. He later died from his injuries.
