Police arrested a man accused of shooting and killing a 60-year-old man during a gunfight with another person.

Police said 20-year-old Alfonso Selmon was in a shootout with another person on Lenow Park Drive on March 8.

While they were shooting at one another, police said a bullet from Selmon's gun hit 60-year-old Darnell Killebrew. He died from his injuries.

Neighbors said Killebrew was sitting on his back porch when the gunshots rang out, and was trying to run for cover when he was hit.

Another neighbor said Killebrew has a 13-year-old son.

Selmon is charged with reckless homicide.

Wednesday, 21-year-old Terry Pegues was identified as a person of interest in the shooting. It is unclear at this time whether police are still searching for him.
