Andersen to remain out for Grizzlies

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis hasn't seen as much of "Grizzilla" as they have wanted to, and that looks like it will continue.

The Grizzlies confirmed Chris Andersen has been dealing with a left shoulder subluxation since March 6, when he left the Grizzlies game against Phoenix. Andersen has not played since.

An MRI confirmed the injury, which will continue to keep him out.

The Grizzlies have not released a timetable for Andersen's return, but said he will continue to be re-evaluated as he misses time.

Andersen has played in nine games for the Grizzlies, averaging four points and 4.7 rebounds per game. He was acquired from Miami in February to help fill the void left by Marc Gasol's season-ending injury.

Andersen adds to the ever-growing list of injured Grizzlies, which includes Gasol, Brandan Wright, Mike Conley, Mario Chalmers and Zach Randolph.
