LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MS (WMC) -

Police are searching for a missing pregnant woman and they believe her husband may be involved.

According to the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department, Ariel Lamb, 18, was reported missing Wednesday.

Her husband, Tyler Lamb, is believed to be with her. He has a warrant for domestic violence charges.

The warrant is the result of a confrontation between the couple that happened last weekend. According to police, when deputies responded to the call, they could not find Tyler, and the warrant was issued for his arrest.

According to investigators, Ariel was with her mother at her home in Lafayette County on Wednesday before she disappeared. Tyler Lamb was not there with her at the time. Ariel's mother left for a short period of time. When she returned, Ariel was gone.

Police believe she is with Tyler.

Ariel's aunt posted about the disappearance on Facebook, and the post has gotten thousands of shares, including one from the Oxford Police Department.

At this time, her disappearance is considered a "welfare concern." A state wide BOLO was issued for a beige 2005 Nissan Altima with a license plate LYG329.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department at 662-234-6421.
