Two men have been charged with the shooting of Couch. LeAndrew Booker and Johnny Robinson are accused of robbing the Corner Grocery store on February 13. A few minutes later, Corporal Couch pulled over a suspicious vehicle. Officers said Robinson got out of the car and shot Couch in the face.

Booker is charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and armed robbery.

Robinson is charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and armed robbery.

"He's fighting. He's a tough guy. He's like his dad," said Alonzo Hardiman, Couch's father.
