City watch issued for missing 12-year-old

Memphis police issued a city watch for a missing 12-year-old boy.

Markwalind Shields, 12, went to visit a friend in the 400 block of East Norwood Avenue, but he never returned home.

Shields’ mother said she looked but never found him. She told police he usually returns home around 9:30 p.m.

Shields is described as African-American, four feet tall and 90 pounds with low cut black hair, brown eyes, and dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, black gym shorts, and black shoes.
