(WMC) - Need a reason to smile today?
It's national puppy day!
According to a recent survey by Royal Canin, two out of every three adult humans don't know when puppies make the transition to adulthood. It's an important milestone in a dog's life, because different aged dogs require different kinds of food to ensure they're staying healthy.
The transition happens between 10 and 24 months, depending on a puppy's size and breed. Growing up has nothing to do with a dog's behavior and teeth.
If you don't have a puppy to celebrate with, you can always head to your local humane society or shelter. Who knows, you may fall in love!
