Just in time for Easter, The Dixon Gallery and Gardens is in full bloom, but only for a short time.
From Tulips to Daffodils, the garden staff planted 120,000 bulbs last fall and the flower assortment is now at its peak for the next few days.
The Bountiful Blooms exhibition is a springtime tradition for Mid-South families.
The Dixon is inviting families to get an eyeful of the display with free Saturday mornings, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The museum has limited space still available for Saturday's Egg Hunt, but families must register in advance.
The Dixon is also hosting its sixth annual Daffodil Show, when the American Daffodil Society will hold an accredited exhibition and competition.
Entries will be received on Friday, April 1, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Go to www.Dixon.org for more information and call (901) 312-1248 to register for the egg hunt.
