Man accused of stalking, shooting at ex-girlfriend

HELENA-WEST HELENA, AR (WMC) - Helena-West Helena police arrested a man they said stalked his ex-girlfriend and shot at her.

According to Chief Virgil Green, Kimberly Walker told officers her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Jackson, was shooting bullets at her house.

In an attempt to get away from him, Walker went to a local hotel. Before she could even check into her room, Jackson jumped on the hood of her car. She tried to drive away, but backed her car up into a brick column at the hotel, causing significant structural damage.

Walker was able to drive away and go to the police station. Officers found surveillance video of the incident that confirmed Walker's story.

Officers later arrested Jackson and charged him with harassment and making terroristic threats.
