The ax fell on two more Memphis schools. They will shut down thanks to unanimous votes by the Shelby County Schools board. We'll explain which schools and plan behind closing them on WMC Action News 5.

There have been arrests behind a suspected road rage incident on the interstate that killed a man a few days ago. It's the third interstate shooting since the beginning of the year. We'll look at the charges and details this morning.

We have the latest chapter in the de-annexation vote ahead today at the state capitol. This afternoon, a senate committee is expected to vote on whether to send the amended bill to the full senate. We'll preview this morning on WMC.

Donald Trump is on defense in Wisconsin and not just fending off a Ted Cruz challenge in next week's all-important primary. The billionaire is also standing behind his campaign manager, who's been charged with misdemeanor battery for reportedly grabbing a reporter. At the same time, Bernie Sanders is gaining momentum against Hillary Clinton in Wisconsin and New York putting up a strong fight. Details from the campaign trail.  

A new way of keeping students safe at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Improvements to the alert system will offer new ways to receive emergency notifications, including via campus computers, televisions, email, text and university's web and social feeds.
