MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - The Hagar Center is hosting a fundraiser to help build a shelter for homeless teen moms in the Mid-South.
Come enjoy all-you-can-eat crawfish, all-you-can-drink beer, Central BBQ and live music while supporting the fundraiser.
The Bug Bash will happen Saturday, April 2 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 1427 Lyndale in the Crosstown community.
The Hagar Center would help homeless teenage moms have a place to live and care for their babies, while at the same time offering educational opportunities and classes to help break the cycle of teen pregnancy.
The fundraiser will help open a shelter at the property on Lyndale Avenue. Tickets are $45 in advance or $50 at the gate.
