MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - The third annual Taste of Memphis was held at Tiger Lane.
The event, held by the Division of Housing and Community development, showcases the Bluff City's historic, hip, diverse, and culturally rich neighborhoods.
Visitors could meet new people, learn about each other's neighborhoods and...of course...eat.
"We have about 30 neighborhoods that have a booth and a table, 4 chairs and 4 hours to talk about the great things that are happening in their neighborhoods," Paul Young from Housing and Community Development said.
It is a way to get ideas for neighborhoods and communities to improve where they live.
There will be an even bigger event in May when the city hosts neighborhoods across the country.
