MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A man is facing kidnapping charges after forcing a man to give him $100.
According to the affidavit, a man was approached by two suspects after leaving the Cash in a Flash on Merrywind Road where the suspects forced him to play a card game.
The suspect picked a card and told the victim to give him $100. The victim told them he didn't have any cash, so one of the suspects got into the victim's car and told him, "I ain't scared to go to jail. You (are) going to give me my $100."
The other suspect got into a car with a woman and kids and followed the victim's car.
The suspect told the victim to drive to Walmart. After trying to cash a check there, he told the suspects Walmart could not cash it.
The suspect then told him to drive back to Cash in a Flash. The victim called his grandmother and asked for the $100. The victim told her what was happening and she called police.
Officers found a suspect walking from the home and arrested him.
That suspect was identified as Davius Collins.
Collins is charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary, robbery, theft and vandalism.
