MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - The Memphis Tigers announced a four-game football series against one of their closest foes.
Memphis will play Arkansas State four times between 2020 and 2023, with each team rotating as host.
The Red Wolves will come to the Bluff City in 2020 and 2022 and the Tigers will head to Jonesboro in 2021 and 2023.
The two teams have not played since 2013, when Memphis won big, 31-7. The teams have faced off 57 other times. Memphis leads the series 29-24-5.
The Tigers also announced they will play a home-and-home series with South Alabama in 2018 and 2019 and announced Mercer as a home opener in 2018. The game with Mercer will give the Tigers seven home games in each of the next three seasons.
