There is now a $20,000 reward for anyone who can help identify the two people that robbed a credit union on June 8, 2015.

At 6:20 a.m., two suspects kidnapped a female employee, forced her into her car, and demanded she take them to her workplace, the Federal Credit Union in the 8200 block of Rockcreek Cove.

The suspects robbed the credit union and took off in the employee’s car, a 2009 dark grey Honda Accord. The vehicle was later found abandoned behind Kroger at 1675 North Germantown Parkway.

A dye pack exploded in the car from one of the bags of money, meaning it is possible the suspects had red dye on their clothes or skin shortly after the robbery.

The first suspect is described as a 6’2”, heavy-set black man. He wore a rubber mask, a dark and curly wig, and a dark blue or black jumpsuit. He was armed with a black handgun.

The second suspect is described as a 5’8, slim black man. He also wore a rubber mask, a yellow or blonde wig, sunglasses, and camouflaged clothing. He was armed with a silver handgun.

The two men are believed to be armed and dangerous.

The FBI and FAA Federal Credit Union are offering a $20,000 reward for information that could lead to an arrest.

The FBI Safe Streets Task Force is investigating the robbery. The task force includes members of the Bartlett Police Department, DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office, Germantown Police Department, Memphis Police Department, Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, and Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Memphis FBI at 901-747-4300.
