MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Cloudy skies Wednesday morning will give way to showers and a few storms by the afternoon.
WMC Action News 5 Meteorologist Spencer Denton said the main time frame for rain will be between noon and 6 p.m., especially east of Memphis and the Mississippi River.
Most parts of the Mid-South can expect just a few scattered showers.
The threat for severe weather today is very low, but Spencer said a few areas could see gusty wind and some lightning.
