Special ticket offer to see Mayor Strickland, Al Kapone, more Lipsync for Charity

Well-known Memphians will battle it on out stage for a good cause come April 14th.

“LipSync Plus” will benefit the Plus-1 Program, a Memphis Light, Gas and Water program to help families in crisis with their utilities.
Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland, Rapper Al Kapone, Food Network Star Gina Neely, Radio Host Bev Johnson, and Larry Dodson, Sr., of the Bar-Keys will take the stage the at Hard Rock Café on April 14th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Four winners, who submitted videos online, will also compete including: Latasha Peeples, David Page, Aristarchus Neely, and Charlie Lawrence.
Created in 1982, the Plus-1 program is primarily funded by MLGW customers who add $1 or more to their monthly utility bills.

The average eligible household receives approximately $250 in assistance plus negotiation with MLGW to establish a payment plan for the balance of their bill.
