City watch issued for missing 16-year-old

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

The mother of a missing 16-year-old is launching a citywide search for her son. Edward Baldwin, an East High Sophomore, disappeared from his Midtown Memphis home on Friday, April 22, 2016.

"He said he was going to play basketball here on the street where we live and when I returned from picking up my daughters at school, I found find my backdoor left unlocked and Edward gone," Edward's mother Shante Baldwin said

Ms. Baldwin has alerted police who declared Edward Baldwin a missing person. MPD Missing Persons Bureau flyers Ms. Baldwin brought to WMC Action News 5 feature photos of the teenager, a smiling young man with a high top fade haircut.

Edward was last seen in the 700 block of Bingham Street wearing a grey polo shirt with an East High emblem and black pants. His mother said Edward disappeared for 48 hours a couple weeks ago but eventually returned home.
