MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Two teens were arrested after a burglary led to a shooting in Pinnacle Point Saturday.

Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened in the area of Gertrude Drive and Harvest Park Drive just before 11 p.m.

Deputies said the victim came home just before 11 p.m. and saw four men breaking into his neighbor’s vehicle. The victim confronted the suspects and told them to put his neighbor’s stuff back.

One of the suspects shot at the victim, but the victim was able to take cover behind his vehicle.

Deputies were able to catch two the suspects and recover a .40 caliber Glock, which was stolen in another burglary in the area of Holmes Road and Easterly Lane three weeks before.

A 17-year-old is charged with attempted first-degree murder. A 16-year-old is charged with auto burglary, unlawful possession of a weapon and altering an item’s serial number.

Deputies said additional charges may be added as the investigation continues.
