MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A Memphis man is now sitting in jail, accused of watching child pornography at a busy fast-food eatery.

Police said someone contacted them on Sunday and said Robert Cliff, 32, was on his laptop at the McDonald's on Union Avenue watching child pornography.

When they got there, police said they found more than 50 nude images on Cliff's computer.

According to an affidavit, investigators said they found numerous sexually explicit images of children under the age of 18 on his computer.  The affidavit said Cliff said he was watching porn while visiting the business and said the youngest person in an image on his computer was a 12-year-old.

The McDonald’s is a place many people go after church, known to be packed with kids and families on Sunday.

“Maybe they should get the public WiFi out of restaurants,” Perly McAfee said.

Police said Cliff admitted to downloading sexually explicit images of children on his computer while at the restaurant.

“It's really a terrible thing to think that this happened at McDonald's,” Chemail Harris said.
