MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Visitors can expect to see traffic and parking changes inside Overton Park this weekend.

The Overton Park Conservancy will test new traffic and parking flow patterns this Saturday, May 7 as part of the Greensward parking compromise with the Memphis Zoo and the City of Memphis.

Beginning at 7 a.m., the main park roads near the Greensward will change to a one-way clockwise direction flow. Two-way traffic will still be available for Memphis Zoo visitors.

Parking will be allowed on both sides of park roads on Veterans Plaza Drive and Golf Drive, with all parking facing the same direction. This means visitors will be allowed to parallel park on either side of the road without changing the direction of their vehicles.

Old Forest Lane and a portion of Museum Drive will be closed to both traffic and parking.

There will also be park shuttles available at a cost of $2 each way, or $5 for an all-day pass.
