MILLINGTON, TN (WMC) -
Sources tell WMC Action News 5 the Millington police chief is planning to resign.
Chief Arthur Heun sent an email to members of his department saying he planned to retire Friday, May 6. In the email, Heun did not address exactly why he was resigning.
Millington Mayor Terry Jones said any resignation like that must be voted on by the city's Board of Aldermen. He said the board does not meet until Monday, and he had not yet heard anything about Heun resigning.
