MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A man suspected in several rapes at an apartment complex faced his one of his accusers in court Tuesday.

The testimony was graphic as the victim described what she said took place the night she was raped. She very confidently pointed out Deandrey Peterson as the attacker.

Peterson listened calmly as the woman testified.

"I just wanted him to get off of me and leave,” she said.

The victim said Peterson raped her inside of her apartment at the Abington Apartments in Raleigh in March 2014.

At the time of his arrest, Peterson was linked to a series of other rapes in the same apartment complex.

Peterson’s record shows he is facing a total of four rape charges, one attempted rape charge, and three burglary charges.

It is not clear where all of the crimes took place.

In the case being testified, the victim admitted the person who raped her had their face covered, but she could see the man’s eyes.

She said she also recognized the voice of the rapist as a man who has talked to her at a gas station once before and followed her home.

During the time frame of the attack, Peterson was reportedly at his girlfriend’s home. During court, she gave a conflicting testimony on whether he was indeed there throughout the night.

"I'm trying to move on with my life and I have two little girls that I have to explain to,” she said.

The case will resume Wednesday at 11 a.m.

In this particular case, Peterson is facing two aggravated rape charges and an aggravated burglary charge.
