OXFORD, MS (WMC) -

The fallout from the Laremy Tunsil saga at Ole Miss never seems to have an end.

Now, TMZ.com is reporting Hugh Freeze wants no involvement in a domestic violence civil case between Tunsil and his Stepdad, because the Rebels head coach does not want the NCAA involved.

Tunsil's stepfather is suing the former Ole Miss lineman, claiming he beat him up back in 2015 after accusing Tunsil of breaking NCAA extra benefit rules. Tunsil disputes the claim, saying it was a fight over his mother.

The stepdad wants to depose Hugh Freeze, but Freeze reportedly has filed court documents to block the deposition, citing an ongoing investigation against the Ole Miss Football program in general, and Tunsil in particular.

During the NFL Draft, Tunsil admitted receiving payment from an Ole Miss official.

NCAA investigators could get information from a deposition, and Freeze reportedly wants any transcripts sealed.

It'll be up to a judge if Freeze testifies in this case.
