Former CBHS and Arkansas star Logan Forsythe of the Tampa Bay Rays is day-to-day after being hit by a pitch against the Mariners Monday night.
X-Rays don't show any fractures, but the Rays kept him out of Tuesday night's game as a precaution due to soreness.
The Rays' leading hitter at .308, Forsythe took his base after getting hit. He then went to the outfield in the bottom of the inning but had difficulty using his shoulder and was taken out of the game.
With a day off Thursday, the Rays may rest Forsythe until Friday.
