Good morning!!

A missing pre-teen prompted an Amber Alert in Crittenden County, Arkansas. We've learned the FBI has also been contacted about a 12 year-old who lives in West Memphis. We'll update you on information and help you be on the lookout this morning.

This comes as the search continues to grow for 9-year-old Carlie Trent, who was kidnapped by her uncle, Gary Simpson, in East Tennessee. She is the subject of another Amber Alert. We'll explain the national search this morning on WMC.

The planet's most prestigious barbecue cooking competition, the Memphis in May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest, fires up today in Tom Lee Park. We'll take you downtown this morning on WMC.

In the day ahead, more than 225 volunteers will join forces to build a new playground in Memphis in just six hours. We'll show you how you can volunteer!

We're investigating to learn more about how a woman was hit by a train in Germantown.  The incident happened last night at Poplar Pike near Eastern.
